This is a very mobile setup, a combination of
o Canon 400D/Astroversion Baader
o Leica ApoTelyt 180mm/3.4 lens (I think one of the best Leica
ever made, concerning optical resolution) the
o AstroTrac Mount and a
o Berlebach stative
The Pentax 75/500, here in a visuell widefield setup with the TeleVue Panoptic 41mm.
This Ultra-Mobile setup is packed in a 35 Liter backpack. It contains a tent s.b., a small compressed sleeping bag (filled with feathers), cooking devices and an espresso maschine ;-)
The one person tent is a very small version, which can be highly compressed. This is possible due to the silicon isolation of the very resistant fabric.
Io verschwindet im Schatten von Jupiter. Während der ganzen Nacht ideale Bedingungen für die Deep-Sky-Beobachtung. Mehrere Überflüge der Internationalen Raumstation ISS am Abendhimmel. 
Ferngläser, auch Feldstecher genannt, sind exzellente und universell einsetzbare Beobachtungsgeräte. Sie sind im Vergleich zu einem Teleskop klein, kompakt und lichtstark. 
As Vega?s development is coming to an end with the qualification flight scheduled in 2011, two contracts were signed to allow the project to move on to the next phase.
